SEA Reservation Policy
The majority of SEA events – luncheons, day trips and special events – require reservations. Please take a moment and follow these RSVP instructions.
The Day Trips committee must lease buses on a timely basis and Special Events and Luncheons must guarantee attendance numbers in advance with venues. Many of our events are wait-listed, so if you received an email reservation confirmation from the SEA and your plans change, please cancel your reservation on a timely basis (if possible, at least 48 hours in advance) so another member may attend in your place or so we can avoid paying for a guaranteed seat. If you are unable to comply with the early cancellation notice, you may be asked to pay the event price even if you cannot attend.
Events are posted on the SEA website (www.seashanghai.org) about five days before the first of the month. Reservations are taken on a first-come-first-served basis. The best way to ensure you have a spot is to sign up online. Please remember one reservation per email and bring your SEA card to the event.
