Yu mountain is known as the birth place of the Wu culture. The enlightened ancient leaders brought advanced agriculture and education to this area, resulting in an abundance of fish and rice for the people. The team from Yoho Guide will lead us to Jian Men pavilion at the peak of Yu Mountain where a fabulous view can be seen. From here we will take a short hike along a mini Great Wall. We will sample a Chang Shu style lunch at the famous Wangsi restaurant, followed by a visit to the charming Xing Fu temple, whose history dates back more than 1,500 years. As it remains a working temple, we may even be fortunate enough to see Buddhist monks going about their routines of meditating, chanting and praying. During our tea break in the tranquil garden, the harmony of Zen and tea will no doubt refresh the body and soul.
