Tai Chi Yang style is based on the principles of traditional Chinese philosophy of Ying and Yang. Tai Chi Yang style combines martial arts movements with the breathing exercises of Qigong, making the energy move smoothly along your energy lines. As we practice Tai Chi Yang style, we will find our movements are elegant and our steps are agile and sturdy. It is a special combination of ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ exercises, with benefits including healing and self-defense. Master Chen, a veteran martial arts teacher, has been teaching Qigong and Tai Chi for 29 years and speaks fluent English.
