Tai chi pushing hands style was named after an internal Chinese martial arts routine with two people training together. Pushing hands style works to undo a person’s natural instinct to resist force with force, teaching the body to yield force and redirect it. This style of tai chi trains in the defensive and offensive movement principals of martial arts by learning to generate, coordinate, and deliver power to another while effectively neutralizing incoming forces in a safe environment. Today, Master Chen will teach tai chi pushing hands style with step-by-step demonstration.
