Smart Air Filters is a Beijing-based social enterprise that provides affordable, highly effective air purifiers to people throughout China, India, and Mongolia. Founded by Dr. Thomas Talhelm (University of Chicago) in 2013, Smart Air’s mission is to raise general air pollution awareness, and give more people access to cleaner air. Noah Willingham, the South China head for Smart Air Filters, will give a free workshop. The presentation will dive into the science behind air purifiers, pollution, and masks, and will address common misconceptions. Expect lots of new information and many questions answered! Participants can reserve a 200 RMB DIY air purifier to build themselves during the workshop. If you want to order one, please note that in your reservation email before September 12.
