Nestled among the beautiful mountains and numerous lakes of the Chang Shu region are the ancient city of Changshu and the Sha Jia Bang scenic area. The team from Yoho Guide will take us on a gentle stroll along the banks of Shang Lake, on the Fu Shui Causeway, where we will fully appreciate the magnificent landscape of the area. Sha Jia Bang is a typical Jiangnan water town and is rated as a National AAAAA level scenic spot. A delightful lunch of local fare will be served, followed by a local opera performance held in the Red Stone Folk Cultural Village. During the performance, we will enjoy delicious hot Chinese tea. Later, we will take a slow paced traditional boat ride among the reed wetlands where we will no doubt encounter some local flora and fauna. Autumn is one of the best times to explore and enjoy Shang Lake wetlands area and this unique reed maze. Our tranquil day will end with exploring historic Heng Jing Old Street.
