Our bodies change over time to adapt to our “adult “ lifestyles: slumping due to stress, head leaning forward due to screen time, tight back and hip flexors due to sitting long hours, and imbalances from carrying children on one side. Over time, our body structure actually changes to suit our unbalanced daily movement patterns. In this class we will learn about optimum movements, how our body compensates for its imbalances, and the inflexibility we have acquired over the years. We will learn exercises to correct these imbalances and work towards lengthening and strengthening our bodies to regain good posture. This class is suitable for both beginners and those with Pilates experience.
