Raising Tiger Kids

Event Details

  • Date:

Chinese kids are famous for being obedient, with their days full of homework and endless activities. Much planning and preparation goes into a child even before they are born. So why do Chinese parents push their children so hard? What subjects do the children study and what activities occupy their time? How does the Chinese education system work? Our guide Lisa Zhu will show you Chinese curriculum books, homework, and exam papers. We will learn about China’s education system from kindergarten through university. If you’re curious about the lives of “tiger kids” join us for this engaging talk.
