Ride the train to one of China’s biodiversity conservation zones, Mount Wuyi in northern Fujian Province. The area is the origin of Da Hong Pao and Lapsang Souchang teas, described as Wuyi tea. Enjoy a leisurely tour of the tea plantation Friday afternoon. Spend Saturday at Wuyishan National Park and enjoy a bamboo raft ride in the afternoon on Nine-Curve Stream. Sunday we will visit the ancient village of Xiamei, considered to be the origin of the Ancient Tea Road. After lunch we will board the train to return to Shanghai.
