The Kitchen Table at the W Shanghai – The Bund is a modern style New York City bistro with timeless bistro fare. Decked in industrial chic, nonstop New York vibes surge throughout the buzzy space wrapped in street art and decorated with edgy renditions of laneway icons such as bicycles and birdcages. With fine hardwoods, black iron, stainless steel, and an open kitchen concept, The Kitchen Table celebrates the excitement and legacy of Shanghai’s flourishing trade. Chef Matthew Woolford’s fresh-focused sensibilities and homemade ingredients share the spotlight with the best seafood and deli items from around the world, served as direct from their origins as possible.

Frisee Lardon – Crisp Smoked Bacon, Frisee Leaves, Quail Eggs, Radish
Heirloom Tomatos (V) – …with Rustic Bread, Pickled White Onions and Basil
Fisherman Stew – Daily Seafood, Pearl Barley and Oven-dried Tomato
Wild Mushroom Bisque – Sauteed Mushrooms, Truffle Cream Capuccino
 
Mains: 
Atlantic Salmon – Crisp Skinned Salmon, Puy Lentils, Root Vegetables and Red Wine Jus
Crab Fettucine – Pasta, Red Shellfish Bisque, Fennel and Marscapone
Croque Monsieur – Shaved Leg Ham, Gruyere and Bechamel
Vegetarian Basil and Tomato Pasta
 
In addition to our starters and mains – we will be given access to the Pastry Room for a sweet treat at the end of our meal!
