Our journey begins on an hour long high-speed train to Hangzhou, with guides from Shanghai and Beyond. We’ll leave the city and cruise to the National Tea Museum to learn the history and development of tea. Next, visit the YangMeiLing tea village where the Ying family welcomes us as honored guests. We’ll hike up the trail to enjoy the once-a-year tea harvest. Among the tea terraces, we’ll be introduced to Long Jing’s famous culture, history and legends. After our descent, the Ying family will prepare a generous lunch of seasonal cuisine and host a tea tasting lesson about determining quality Long Jing tea. In the afternoon, we’ll take a stroll near West Lake’s scenic shores while listening to its history and legends.
