Join us on this trip to see the amazing earthen houses of the Hakka people in the mountains of rural Fujian province. The itinerary includes visiting the Kaiyuan Temple, one of China’s largest and most important Buddhist temples; the East and West Pagoda, one of the most well preserved stone pagodas in China; and Qingjing Mosque, the oldest Mosque in China and one of the top ten Muslim holy sites in the world. The last day we will take a ferry to Gulangyu Island to explore Suzhuang Garden. We will stroll among the small alleys and enjoy a music performance and puppet show at Hai Tian Tang Garden. During your visit to Fujian, we will spend one night in a renovated real Hakka House to experience the life of the local people. Click Fujian Hakka House for more information.
