Tianping Mountain is a famous fall foliage spot in China with its thousands of flaming red maple trees, some as old as 400 years. In addition to admiring the fall foliage, Yoho Guides will show us the clear spring, the rare stones, and the historic landmarks that make this mountain a destination of interest. After enjoying a lunch of local cuisine, we’ll visit the Six Arts Museum, a highly rated and newly opened ancient folk arts museum. It’s devoted exclusively to the environmentally friendly, historically important, rescue, preservation, and display of ancient Chinese arts. Currently exhibited items include architectural salvage pieces, stone and wood carvings, temple and domestic folk arts, antique furniture, and artifacts. After spending two hours at the museum, we’ll return to Shanghai.
