Dou Di Zhu means “fight the landlord” and is one of the most popular card games in China. Lisa Zhu and local card game master Xiu Lan will teach us how to play this national card game which is described as easy to learn but hard to master because it requires mathematical and strategic thinking as well as carefully planned execution. The game starts with players bidding for the landlord position and those who lose the bid or don’t bid join the game on the peasants team competing against the landlord. The first team to have no cards left wins.
