The team of Shanghai and Beyond presents a unique opportunity to visit with a National Championship cricket fighting master in his home. Mr. Wang resides in a quiet, upscale suburban villa surrounded with the treasures of his lifetime. On this special visit, you are invited to learn about the culture of cricket fighting, how to shop for a prize-winning cricket, and the challenges and in dealing with the modern hobby. He will demonstrate the usage of the equipment that may have baffled you at the bird and cricket markets, and then we will observe firsthand several cricket fighting matches. What makes this visit extra special is that Mr. Wang is also an antique collector and historian, and will share his most precious artifacts that have been sought after by museum curators. His collection is stunning whether or not you are familiar with antiques., including two dramatic carved stone chairs that were made for a wealthy government official who hid them in his countryside estate. Yes, you can sit on them!
