Chinese ceramic ware is an art form that has been developing since the dynastic period. This country is richly endowed with the raw materials needed for making ceramics. During this 2-hour pottery class, you have an opportunity to PLAY and get a taste of the pottery experience. We will learn about Chinese ceramic art from a Chinese pottery artist in hand-building. You will be introduced to several methods of constructing with clay. In the end, you will finish making one of your own pottery pieces to display proudly in your home. Children over 6 are welcome to participate.
