Event Description – Chinese Characters: Chinese characters are logograms with a long history. Not only used in China, they are the base used in the writing of many Asian countries. In standard Chinese, they are called hànzì. Teacher Ben will provide us with some insight into the oldest continuously used system of writing in the world. You will also have a chance to learn how to read and write some simple characters. Come join us at Luccio’s over coffee, tea and biscuits and learn about Chinese Characters.
