Learn Chef Philippe’s culinary secrets by taking a hands-on cooking class from the pro himself at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai. Chef Philippe Egalon graduated from the Nice Académie Culinaire, worked in Paris at the Concorde Lafayette and in Nice at the Hotel Negresco before working extensively in North America and Asia. He was appointed Chevalier dans l’ordre du merite Agricole by the French Minister of Agricultre and now serves as the Culinary Executive Chef at the Shanghai Waldorf Astoria on the Bund. After learning how to create 3 dishes, we will sit down to enjoy lunch and a glass of wine.

The 3-course menu includes:
Rape wine confit tomato salad
Bagna Cauda, Buratina, Genovese dressing
Black Angus Beef tenderloin (slow cooked)
Café de Paris butter, Mashed potato, Asparagus
Waldorf Chocolate Mousse
