Shanghai a world metropolis is currently our home. But do we really know where we are? Do we have a broad overview of the city geographically and what do we know about its historical background to understand how the city works? This talk with Carolin Billetter will help us to get to that point. Together with her, we will experience Shanghai intensively, from the broad perspective down to little details. We will start with Shanghai beginnings as a fishing village then hear about the fast development of becoming a colonial as well as international metropolis. We will get to know its most important celebrities and see many historical milestones on this visual travel through time.
