Being a Local in YangPu

Yang Pu use to be the industrial and undesirable district in old shanghai where the working class lived. Tonight, in the new YangPu district, we will explore the unique local neighborhood that has over 50 years of history. We will visit a local family who will tell us their stories and opinions of how the changes have impacted their lives while we enjoy local snacks -Shanghai WonTons, and fruit. Then we will watch locals play mahjong on an automatic mahjong table in the community game room, you can even try it if you know the rules! Between all of this is the famous night food market! Ready to party with the locals? The location for this event is not far from the Bund area in case you wish to plan for your evening afterwards. This is a family friendly event.
