In 2012, China Central Television Station launched a documentary, ‘A Bite of China.’ It explores the history and stories behind Chinese cuisine: its symbolism; the relation between nature and people; and the creation of unique foods and traditional recipes. The documentary has been well received and screened in Singapore, Australia, and soon, France. Our guide Lisa Zhu has selected some episodes and would like to invite those that love food and traveling to watch this production together. The 50-minute long episode will be in English and Lisa will add some geography, history, culture, and traveling information.
